The Oregon offense (#11) dusted the perennially overrated Utah defense last week. The Ducks offense has been rolling this year, under the radar, because their defense has been even worse than last year. Mark Helfrich really deserves to keep his job and try to find somebody to tun the defense around. You don't want to just blow it up when one unit is consistently one of the best in college football. It's not like the Ducks are Arizona or anything.

Oregon is excellent at Explosive Drives and Negative Drives. They put up big plays and they don't go 3 and out very often or go backwards after the initial set of downs. They are also really good at Play Efficiency, 3rd down, and D-plus Plays. This offense is great, but they have so much field to cover that they struggle putting up points compared to how many yards they put up in the game.

Oregon is pretty mediocre at Drive Efficiency; which is a measure of consistency, play calling, and execution. It is very difficult to be consistent across as much field as Oregon usually has to cover to get to the end zone.

Oregon State's defense (#41) had a good, but not great game against Arizona last week. They gave up more yards than points, but like getting on base, those yards lead to something. They will have their hands full this week with Oregon, but if their offense can put the screws to a really bad Oregon defense, they should have plenty of field behind them all game to work with.

Oregon State is excellent at Drive Efficiency. The Beavers give up far fewer points than you would expect given how many yards they are giving up. They find ways to stop drives and get off the field even when they have given up some first downs. They are really average at Play Efficiency, Explosive Drives and Negative Drives. They don't cause a lot of 3 and outs, they give up some big plays, and they do give up yards. They are pretty good on 3rd down.

The Beavers are not good at D-plus Plays. They have not created many drive or game changing plays this season. If they do cause some turnovers in this game they it could easily get ugly.
