The Oregon offense (#14) is really good, but as I have been saying since the Pac-12 season started, their defense isn't doing them any favors. Last week they played their bizarro doppelganger in Stanford and got pushed around. While Stanford's offense is really bad, they are not at the level of awful that Oregon's defense has achieved. Oregon's offense had terrible field position all game against Stanford's terrific defense. Oregon has played a pretty rugged slate of defenses, so Utah won't be anything that shocks them with quality, and it should feel like breather compared to playing Stanford.

Oregon is excellent at Explosive Drives and Negative Drives. They put up big plays and they don't go 3 and out very often or go backwards after the initial set of downs. They are also really good at Play Efficiency, 3rd down, and D-plus Plays. This offense is great, but they have so much field to cover that they struggle putting up points compared to how many yards they put up in the game.

Oregon is pretty mediocre at Drive Efficiency; which is a measure of consistency, play calling, and execution. It is very difficult to be consistent across as much field as Oregon usually has to cover to get to the end zone.

Utah's defense (#43) isn't really as good as people think it is when you look at points or yards /game type metrics. Utah's mind-numbing (though improving) offense and very good special teams make sure the Utes face fewer possessions and leave opponents with a lot of ground to cover to get to pay dirt. Utah took apart a bad ASU team in Tempe last week. Oregon is going to be a much stiffer challenge for the defense this week, even if Oregon will probably start nearly every drive from the 25 or worse.

Utah isn't really great at anything, but they are good Negative Drives, Explosive Drives, and Play Efficiency. They give up less yards than they do points relatively. They are also pretty good at 3rd down and D-plus Plays.

Utah is as mediocre as Oregon at Drive Efficiency. They do struggle to get off the field more than you would expect given their relative stinginess at giving up yards.
